The overhead torque arm line is very popular and it suspends the torque tube from an overhead assembly. The lightweight overhead assembly slides on bearing assemblies to allow for effortless movements in all directions. Operators tend to like the tool presentation that the overhead assembly provides. WSP has many standard overhead models to choose from or we can custom configure one specifically for your application.
Overhead Torque Arm Styles
- Pendulum Design - The tool swings into the product with our pendulum style overhead torque reaction arm. It is our most economical overhead torque arm.
- Fore/Aft Design - The fore / aft overhead torque arm allows the torque tube to slide forward / rearward and side to side on precision bearings. The bearings allow for very smooth movements with very little effort.
- Multi Spindle Design - Some applications require multiple tools to be combined into a single assembly. Our multi spindle designs are custom suited for each application.
