WSP Technologies offers innovative error proofing and test products used in assembly and manufacturing for the automotive industry and other
general industries. Focus on growth, technology, and quality as you execute new and improved products for WSP Technologies. Our product line uses
embedded technologies that include controls, analog circuits, and digital circuits. We are growing organically and through acquisition.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of software development projects
- Carry a design and product through the product development life cycle which includes testing, documentation, manufacturing builds, and customer feedback
- Develop the products, sub-systems, and components using Macromedia Flash, and C/C++
- Troubleshoot systems
- Design, Develop, and Execute Test and Validation Plans
- Product Validation Testing
- Interact with customer to define requirements and specifications
- Establish a design direction and ensure design meets agreed upon standards and needs
- Problem solve with the project team and offer solutions
- Influence peers and managers
- Some travel may be required
Requirements
- BS with 4+ years of experience in software engineering developing applications or products. MS or equivalent experience preferred
- Key technical skills include Macromedia Flash programming and C++
- 4+ years experience in the design, testing, and quality control of embedded products a plus
- Product development experience a plus
- Controls and PLC experience a plus
- Experience in product certifications, like CE or UL a plus
- Passion and Excitement for Product Development and Improvement
- Experience building a product for manufacturing and improving on it
- Demonstrated experience in testing and troubleshooting
- Effective oral and written communication skills
